Teaching Metaphor
I like to think of my own teaching metaphor as a ‘butterfly’. I, as a teacher, consider myself as a butterfly doing the pollination to the nature. By performing these pollination activities, I want my students to flourish on their own domain. My teacher lens allows me to use my self-intuition on when to connect the missing link to make sure that outcomes are achieved. I am required to have the ability to make connections for the missing links within the knowledge ground with different students, and I need to be efficient to be able to address all different situations. Whenever I am preparing my lesson plan, I only think of making it more of outcomes based, so the students learn what they are opted for. All I want to do is to assist in the discovery of knowledge.
